I feel like I’ve been going non-stop for basically the last 2 years; between school and starting my business and more school and working full time on top of it, oh and completing my YTT (eeekkkk) it’s been go-go-go.
So when I woke up today and it was raining and kind of miserable out, I thought it would be a perfect day to do a whole lot of nothing. Well, except play in the kitchen!
Typically every day starts with a green smoothie (well, after my lemon water of course). So today when I opened my fridge and discovered I was fresh out of my homemade almond milk I slightly panicked. I am a creature of habit, change scares me a little especially when I have a specific routine.
What’s a girl to do? Bite the bullet and change it up of course…
Milk-less ‘Orange’ Smoothie (yes, I realize it’s actually green)
- 3/4 fresh orange juice
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- A huge handful of kale
- 1 banana
- Lemon Juice (about half a lemons worth)
- A bunch of hemp hearts
- A decent size chunk of fresh ginger
Put in all in a blender & enjoy!
